Time management and accuracy are critical to ensure correct inventory management and prompt deliveries of finished goods. Primary Job Duties
Pack orders, process internal paperwork, and assist in shipping/receiving.
Perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Unload and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods.
Load completed product, materials and supplies on various modes of transportation and secures properly.
Monitor inventory levels of supplies and materials and initiate inventory requisitions to replenish supply
Ensure compliance with federal, corporate, and plant safety standards.
Qualified Candidates will have
Previous forklift experience is a plus.
The ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand for up to eight to twelve hours (A human performance evaluation by a physical therapist will be performed as part of the pre-hire process).
Communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills in a team atmosphere.
Flexibility to handle changes in shipping volume as they arise in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Basic computer skills.
